Based in Kerrville, Texas, Hill Country Memories specializes in memorial and tribute videos, drawing on over 18 years of experience — primarily in partnership with Grimes Funeral Chapels, as well as serving individuals and families throughout the surrounding communities.
While our expertise is rooted in memorial tributes, we also craft custom videos to celebrate life’s milestones — including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and school graduations.
With the use of state-of-the-art editing software and a meticulous eye for detail, we create emotionally resonant, beautifully composed slideshows. Every photo is enhanced with thoughtful visual effects, creative framing, and seamless transitions — far beyond the basic fade-ins and zooms common in standard slideshows. File Sharing
You can send us your photos using a file sharing website such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and iCloud, by using this email address:

Making sure to include the highest resolution/size available, and attaching up to 5 photos per message to ensure that we get them
Photo Scans
We professionally scan in your hard copy photos at no additional cost.
Smartphone Photos
Although not the best option, more and more people are taking photos of hard copy pictures using their smartphones. Just make sure to flip your phone if the photo is a landscape one, and avoid shadows reflected on the photos, and using the flash from your camera

Using the latest technology, we enhance your photos by correcting fading colors, and eliminating scratches, noise, speckles and stains

How many photos can be included?
The standard is 45 photos, but you can add as many as you want for a small extra fee per photo.
Can you scan my photos?
Yes, if you live in Kerrville or nearby areas, you can either mail us your photos, or drop them off at our address. If it’s for a funeral service held by Grimes Funeral Home, you can drop them off at their reception.
When do you need my photos by?
We usually require to get your photos no later than 48 hours before the event or service, but we are also aware that some projects need to be done overnight.
How do you organize the photos for display?
Unless given the specific order in which the photos are to be displayed, we organize them in chronological order to the best of our perception.
How can I send my photos?
E-mail, file sharing websites like Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud and even through text messages.
Can you add music to the slideshow?
Yes, all you have to do is let us know the name of the artist and the song and we will get them for you. We also have a large music library with soft and emotional music suitable for each project.
How many songs can I add?
A standard 45-photo video is usually around 9 minutes long, so two to three songs will usually suffice, as one song can be used for 15 photos.
What video format are the slideshows created?
We can create MP4 videos, DVDs, and Blu-Ray discs.
Can I preview the slideshow?
Yes, we can upload the video to YouTube for your approval.
